My 2 year old enjoys a nice croissant and a cup of French Roast each morning while watching Dora the Explorer?
I'm proud that she seems to be so sophisticated for her age, but concerned that when I start taking her to daycare on a regular bases that she'll be prone to caffeine headaches, as none of the schools I have researched seem to provide hot coffee for the children during the day.
Should I start giving her decaf? I think it will be in her best interest when she is unable to take her usual 12:00pm and 4:00pm coffee breaks on which she's grown so dependent.
Supernanny says it's important to maintain a strict schedule... do you think this change in her daily routine will confuse her and force her to lash out?
Well any childcare that will not allow your child to have coffee is obviously not good enough for the little princess. My daughter gets a Red Bull and 6 pixie sticks at her after school program before she goes to gymnastics lessons. Her coach and I feel she needs the energy so she can get the most out of her lessons. I had to have a note from her Dr. and her coach otherwise the school system wouldn't allow it. As the mom you know what is best for her so fight for your rights.
