Why does decaf coffee still contain caffeine?
And is there anything I can do (making it at home) to lessen the effect?
I have not had an actual cup of coffee, or any other caffeinated beverage for over a year, due to pregnancy. I am currently breastfeeding my baby, and even decaf seems to bother us both - makes me jittery and her irritable. So I rarely even have decaf. I know part of this reaction is due to me not having it in a while. But what can I do - I really love coffee!
Try herbal coffee. http://www.teeccino.com/ I have been off caffeine for over 2 years. This is the best alternative. Taste almost like real coffee.
