Can my overdraft fee be refunded?
So i ordered a Replacement Decanter from mr.coffee dec. 31, 2009. They said the decanter would be shipped within 10 days. 10 days later i did not get an order confirmation so i emailed them asking if the order went through and when it would be shipped and i never got an answer back. I bank with bank of america and i noticed my card wasn't charged either. I contacted them again to say i wanted to cancel my order and i still was not contacted back so i figured my order did not go through. I ordered another decanter from amazon. I am just now receiving the decanter from mr.coffee feb. 17. So i wanted to check and see if they charged my card and they did charge it causing an overdraft fee of $35. I wanted to know if mr.coffee would refund the decanter plus the $35 or if bank of america would excuse it. I have never had an overdraft fee before.

I also bank with Bank of America and last year had gotten an overdraft fee for the first time in a long time. I called them and told them that I know it was my fault, ( I know this is not really yours) but that this is not usual for me and they reversed the fees. They told me, since this was my first time they would wave them, but they could not do it again. So, just call them, or talk to them in person, and tell them what happened. I think you will get the fee reversed. Good Luck.
